Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Codomni (the "App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our Shopify application.

1. Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

  • Store Information: Your store name, email address, and basic configuration details.
  • Customer Information: To provide Cash on Delivery (COD) and OTP services, we process customer names, shipping addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers.
  • Order Information: We access order data strictly to sync it with your connected integrations (like Google Sheets) and manage upsell flows.

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers to provide the App's core functionality:

  • Rendering the 1-click checkout form on your storefront.
  • Verifying customer phone numbers via SMS or WhatsApp (OTP).
  • Routing order data to your requested third-party services (e.g., Google Sheets).
  • Providing merchant support and troubleshooting.

3. Sharing Personal Information

We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We only share personal information with your explicit consent or to trusted third-party service providers required to make the App function (such as SMS gateway providers for OTP delivery, or Google APIs if you enable the Google Sheets sync). We also share data with Shopify as required by their API and Partner terms.

4. Data Retention & GDPR

When a customer places an order through your store using Codomni, we process that information securely. We comply with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (`customers/data_request`, `customers/redact`, and `shop/redact`). If a customer requests data deletion through your Shopify admin, our system will automatically purge their records from our active databases within the required timeframe.

5. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

6. Contact Us
